It says it’s a two way story, but I don’t get it. A blobby alien is coming down to earth and then under the sea. It will pass many things on the way. The illustrations are great and they only thing keeping this from being a one star read. ( ) A Long Way Away is meant to be a two way story you can read from either end of the book. The idea may be interesting to a younger child, but the story isn't captivating enough for the concept to really work. The illustrations may be a bit too abstract to keep the child's attention. However, there are some useful pages for teaching orientation vocabulary. The bold graphic graphic illustrations, combined with minimalistic designs, strong color contrasts and playful background characters, keep the story interesting. The dual nature of the alien's journey gives the reader the opportunity to experience two entirely different endings depending on how the book is read. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
