I bought this book as Nancy and I were discussing eventually adding a second-story and rear room to our house, but it's probably too dated and basic to be of much practical use. Still, it may give us some clues what to expect, and what might be reasonable to hope for as we go through the process. Good illustrations, in the usual tradition of the folks at Time-Life. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

NOTES:
p. 67: On toe-nailing: place the head of the nail against the stud at the desired angle and tap the point gently, then reverse and drive through the wood using the dent as a shelf to keep the blunted point from slipping (or maybe you could use one nail to make dents, and actually drive sharp ones in?)
p. 89: On collecting roofing debris: Nail together 3 2x4s in a U-frame and tack on a sheat of plastic long enough to cover the rame and extend at least 10 feet into the yard or driveway, then lean the top of the frame up against the house below the work area. ( )
