This book was one of the best books that I have read this year. Definitely a 5 star book. Exciting from start to finish with no filth and foul language. I highly recommend reading this book. I liked the author's thoughts in her author's note section about God writing each of our stories and how it parallels with the process of writing a book. I found it interesting that the families reacted differently to catastrophic events. The Cramer siblings all came together to defend their brother. The Hogans have created an outcast of Michael who accidentally withheld evidence and then perjured himself on the stand during the investigation of his brother Joe's murder. This also comes up in the sibling rivalry of Michael and Max. Mrs. Haughton allows her love for her son to blind her to his faults--she doesn't want to believe he's committed the crimes others think he has and when faced with evidence that he might have, it becomes too much for her already illness-weakened body. Some of the thoughts that Cathy has are ones I have echoed and struggled with recently. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
