Mary Ellis is a gifted writer. When I read her books I feel as if I am experiencing everything first hand. This book is no exception. I felt as if I were right next to Nora as she traveled to Paradise in search of Elam Detweiler, the black sheep of the Detweiler family. Elam is still sitting on the fence, not conforming to the Amish way of life yet not actually turning Englisch. When Lewis arrives in Paradise to win Nora's love, Nora is torn. She realizes she will never have a good life with Elam, but she feels that she cannot marry Lewis because of her past. (

LOVE COMES TO PARADISE by Mary Ellis is an exciting Amish Romance set in Paradise, Missouri. #2 in "The New Beginnings" series, but can be read as a stand alone. Nora King follows Elam Detweiler from Harmony, Maine to Paradise, Missouri,what she finds is a community a many unexpected decisions. For she can't seem to capture Elam's heart no matter what she tries.Elam is leaning toward Englisch ways instead of the Amish ways. But Lewis Miller, wishes to capture Nora and her heart. Nora is free thinking,rebellious and will capture your heart. If you enjoy Amish, and romance you will enjoy "Love Comes to Paradise". No doubt love is definitely in Paradise. A wonderful fast read. Ms. Ellis is a great storyteller who engages the readers heart and soul. Received for an honest review from the publisher and Wynn-Wynn Media,LLC.
