cute take on the classic Cinderella Tale involving elephants and pair of warthog sisters you wouldn't want to mess with

This was a fun take on Cinderella. I thought it was interesting that this version didn't include an evil stepmother, but just evil cousins. This would be a great resources when looking at different versions of the Cinderella story. ( )

Based off of the classic Cinderella Story, this book his a big twist to it. This book would be perfect for younger grades because it is a picture book and older kids would find it baby like. This book puts humor behind the classic story. ( )

Cinderella is one of my all time favorite stories. I love this new twist to it too! The story was fun to read and I really liked the highlighted delicious words that were represented, many of which were words that described an elephant.

Cinderelephant lives with her two cousins, the Warty Sisters. They made Cinderelephant do all the chores and never once said thank you. One day, Prince Trunky set out an invite for a all so that he could find a girlfriend. The Warty Sisters were excited to go but told Cinderelephant she should not waste her time by going. This made Cinderelephant sad and she began to cry. As she was crying, she met her Furry Godmouse who magically prepared her for the ball, with the expectation that she be back by midnight. She goes to the ball and her and the prince dance all night. At midnight she rushes home without telling the prince her name and in her hurry loses a shoe. The prince decides to find whoever the shoe belongs to and marry them. All the ladies in the town try on the shoe but all their feet are far too small. Cinderelephant finally tries on the shoe and it fits. Her and Prince Trunky get married the next day and live hugely happy ever after.
