Rex promises to take care of his pet person. He tells his parents he will feed them and clean up after them but his parents are not convinced they know a pet person it a lot of work. One day while sitting at the park he finds a stray pet person and they spend the day playing together. Rex realizes his parents are right that he might not be ready for a pet. Rex gets home for his birthday to find his parents had a surprise for him, a pet person. ( ) This book was about how a dog is looking for a pet person. A pet person is a human. This is a great book because it is the opposite of what people do. It kind of shows you the view of how a dog thinks. I really enjoyed reading this book because it was humorous. I might read this book to a classroom during a lesson about animals just because it would something different for them. The Pet Person is about a dog named Rex, who wants a pet person for his birthday. When he asks his family they are all against it. His family thinks a pet person will ruin the furniture, smell bad, and can't be trained properly Rex goes to the park disappointed. He sees all those other dogs with there pet persons. Later Rex meets a boy and they begin to play, but he begins to notice a lot of things he doesn't like about this boy. For example, the boy jumps in mud, is noisy, and doesn't behave properly. Rex runs off when he finds out the boy could have fleas. Rex realizes a tennis ball would be a better birthday gift. When he gets home his mother has a surprise for him and it's a little baby boy. This book is very sarcastically funny because the dogs seem more proper than the humans. Also, the dogs think humans do strange things when they are practically normal. This is a funny story you'll enjoy. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
