Phoenix Taylor knows what it means when love goes wrong and unwilling to try again no matter the cost. Phoenix was hired by Everything You Need to be project manager and now she must prove why she's the best. Anthony "Tony" Creed of Creed Construction doesn't believe his company has a shot at winning the contract with Everything You Need. He's completely surprised when they receive the contract. He's even more surprised at his attraction to project manager after what happened with Nadia. Phoenix doesn't want any complications on the job yet finding out there are some she can't get away from either. Can either Tony or Phoenix admit they're wrong? Will Phoenix try again? Can Tony let go? Your answers await you in Everything He Dreamed. Both Phoenix and Tony have been badly burned by love. They both have too much responsibility to fall in love again. I honestly appreciated that it was male lead unable to risk love. I see it all too often with female leads which can be boring after awhile. I will definite read more of Ms. Blue work again. A project manager, Phoenix Taylor, wants to just finish the project and get on her long awaited trip to Italy. The general contractor for the project, Tony Creed, has his own issues, but these are with his family. Both of them feel something for each other as soon as they meet, but Phoenix is currently recovering from a horrific event in her past and not ready to give in to the inevitable. In addition, both realize how a relationship will impact the project and how things run. The story follows the two through the project, with well written dialogue, descriptions and settings. This author definitely knows how to write a romance. I loved her way with words as she described the interactions and romantic tensions between Phoenix and Tony. The story flows so well that I was amazed at how much I had read in the short time I had been reading. I had never read a book by this author before and do not always enjoy books such as this one, but I really loved this one. I now hope to read her other books and any more to come. I highly recommend it to anyone enjoying a good read or a good romance. Esta reseña ha sido escrita para Sorteo de miembros LibraryThing. I was in the mood for a good romance; what I got was more erotica/ porn than romance. There is a difference. I liked the beginning of the book. I enjoyed getting to know the characters, enjoyed their banter & word play. However, the cursing really bothered me and interrupted the flow for me. It was in just about all of the main characters' dialogue. I also did not like the explicitness of the sexual encounters. I don't mind innuendo & an insinuation of a sexual episode, but to have it splayed out in front of me was very distasteful to me. It is possible to write a great book without so much crudeness.I admit Melissa Blue has skill in writing, but nothing great. I've read better authors, but if someone only wants a quick read to kill time, then this book is as good as any. Personally, I've deleted it from my nook. This is the first book that I have read by this author and it wont be the last. This is a story about a project manager and a general contractor, that when they first meet they had a conection that would lead to very steamy meetings. Heartbreak and tragity kept them from wanting more than just a casual relationship and realationship is used losely. The first impression I got of Tony was that he was a slacker with a very charming personality and he could talk his way into anything. Phoenix at first seemed a little up tight and confident but she had to be in her line of work. The tragitity that accured in one of these characters life (and I wont tell you which) was beyond horrible and with a little help from somewhere the character survived and harded their heart to love but things can always change with a little help. I loved this book and the characters. They had me smiling and the their encounters are what fantasys are made of. This is a great book. I will definetly pick up the first book in this series and I am putting this author on watch. Cant wait for more. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

Phoenix Taylor is project manager in charge of construction on Palmer Island. Tony Creed's construction firm has won the bid to build cabins. There is an immediate sense there could be more than business between them but neither wants to muddy things by getting physical.
