This wordless picture book is a gripping story of a family’s preparations for a storm. From boarding up the windows, to the decision to evacuate, the depiction of devastation and the process of restoring their home is riveting. This is a wordless book using pictures to describe a storm that ruined a family's house. They planned on staying, but when the storm gets too bad they leave in a hurry. When the family returns home, their house is in ruins, but they eventually rebuild an even more beautiful home. I picked this book because I feel it's very relatable to the region we live in. The illustrations are water-color and take up the entire page. This book serves as a great model for writing books that contain no words, and only tell the story through pictures. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
