Everyday childhood activities, such as an excursion to the park, splashing in a bathtub or fixing a snack in the kitchen, can excite many questions in young children. The tenth anniversary edition of Why? provides child-friendly explanations for nearly 100 of these everyday mysteries for a whole new generation of children. This book is about Suki who has just turned four. Suki's parents then begin to prep her for starting school. Mom and Suki go to visit the school. That night Suki dreams of taking her precious teddy bear Lulu to school and how lulu does not like school. She is coping with her own starting school through the dream. She talks to her mom about it. Her mom promises suki that she is a big girl and that mom will be back to get her. This book is an excellent book for use in pre-k classes. I like that it can help them cope with going to school. I would like to read this book to my nephew who is now three years old. He is attending pre-k already though. In the class, I would read to my class and just talk to them about their parents and siblings who they miss during the day. I could then have them do a coloring book or drawing of thoose individuals. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
