First the story concerning the vampires and the vampire Andrew Bennett from the previous TPB, and including some Batgirl and Batman since it took place in Gotham City. And, it was an okay ending to that, but, it was the Felix Faust story that took place next was much more interesting. The Books of Magic are being chased down by all sorts of magic users because the magic to them has been found, some of these chasers are on the side of good and some on the side of bad, and of course, some in the middle (hello John Constantine). There were some great twists and turns and I was surprised how much I was kept guessing. Of course I also liked the characters. On the team I’ve always liked Zatanna and I would love to read more about Black Orchid, lots of mysteries left with that character. There were even special appearances by Frankenstein and Amethyst which were cool. Overall a pretty good TPB, though I didn’t love the art. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

I like that they got all kinds of characters involved in this, even Amethyst who I've never read, but I do remember seeing the comics when I was a teen about a million years ago. ( )
