I did not realize this was a mystery when I picked it up, so that was a pleasant surprise. This was a good mystery and I am excited that it is part f a series as I will need to look for more of the books in this series. There were a lot of possible killers and the reveal was great. I could definitely see something like this situation causing a murder. ( ) I adore this series. Really, truly adore it. I really can't put my finger on why I love Heather Wells so much but I do. I expected murder, kooky fun, and wedding shenanigans. Cabot delivered. The new school year sees a new standing for Heather's residence hall. It now houses a royal prince, and rather than people clamoring to leave for another building, people actually want in. Of course, there is then the discovery of the dead body, an RA murdered before the official start of the semester during Freshman Orientation week. And while dealing with all this, Heather is still planning a wedding, complete with unexpected guests, like her mother. A very quick and hilarious read. I loved this. And hopefully this won't be the last we see of Heather... I had this book at 3 stars but had to go back and down grade it. After thinking about it, I was really disappointed in this book. I had such a great time reading the other ones that I think I had my expectations too high. That, or I don't remember the others too clearly! These books are such fun, lighthearted reads. And this one, to me, was the worst of the lot. I didn't care about her mom, or hell, even her wedding. I thought the mystery was a little light as well. I don't know, maybe I was not in the mood - but dang, I didn't like it. Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing. The final book of the Heather Wells series. A light read with some amusing moments, but as with the previous installment Size 12 and Ready to Rock, it was mostly disappointing compared to the first three books. The plot was trite and repetitive, failing to challenge the characters and offer interesting moments of growth. As a result, the characters seemed to float along and felt extra shallow, and nobody was any different by the end of the story. Other long-running issues, such as Heather's relationship with her mother, are glossed over and are so easily resolved, it's unsatisfying. It was a very quick and easy read, but didn't accomplish anything significant for the characters or series overall. For that reason, I'm glad that it's over. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

HTML: Heather Wells is used to having her cake and eating it too, but this time her cake just might be cooked. Her wedding cake, that is. With her upcoming nuptials to PI Cooper Cartwright only weeks away, Heather's already stressed. And when a pretty junior turns up dead, Heather's sure things can't get worseâ??until every student in the dorm where she works is a possible suspect, and Heather's long-lost mother shows up. Heather has no time for a tearful mother and bride reunion. She has a wedding to pull off and a murder to solve. Instead of wedding bells, she might be hearing wedding bullets, but she's determined to bring the bad guys to justice if it's the last thing she does . . . and this time, it just might be.
