This is a great book when teaching about money, economics, and how it related to real life. A young boy Greg KEaton loves money, and one day dreams of being rich. He starts selling comics to make money, but not long after realizes that another boy is selling them as well. They later realize that they can work together to become a team and make even more money.

This is an excellent book about Greg who enjoys making money and at a young age finds ways to aquire as much money as he can. Greg and another student, who do not get along and are always competing, are forced to work togeher when they are not allowed to sell their comic books in school but the book club is still able to sell theirs. They find an excllent solution to make everyone happy. Math is one of the top topics in the story and could be used in that manner.. ( )

This book is about a young man who loves money. Greg can make and save money. I wish I had the ambition like him to save my money. He goes through an adventure when he started selling comic books and then he is in competition. Greg learns a lot in this book. This would be a great novel for middle school students to read so they can learn the value of saving money. ( )

Lunch Money is a novel about Greg who is a 6th grader that is obsessed with money. At school he starts to sell trinkets but the kids get bored with them fast. He then decided to create a comic line. The comic line starts to sell super fast. Soon the comic books starts to become much bigger than he thought they ever would. Making so much money Greg realizes that money can not make you happy. Since this is a novel for kids i did not know what to expect, but this story shows kids that money is not everything. Knowing this so young may be kids can remember this as they grow up. I definitely want to let my little cousin read this book because he is someone who loves money. This book was easy to read but i still enjoyed it very much. ( )
