A city dog that was breed to herd cows gets restless, and is encouraged to find a cow by his parrot friend. Dog has a hard time finding one since he doesn't know what a cow looks like. I won't give it away, but the book is fun to read aloud or one on one. There's lots of animal sounds but the book is definitely for story times geared towards those out of diapers. ( )

"Find a cow now!" is a great book about a dog on a journey to the country to find a cow. He approaches different animal's that he thinks that a cow but turns out not to be. At the end he finds his cow and they become friends. This book is great to read to children pre-k through second grade. ( )

Summary: This book was about a cattle dog that has so much energy in a small city apartment. The bird tells him to go find a cow. He gets a farm and meets all the animals until he finally meets the cow and ends up having to "herd" him out of a dangerous situation.
Review: Cute book for kids to read and laugh about. Great way to talk about animals and how different animals and dogs have specific instincts to do different things.
