Rabbit mentions that bees are important for gardening, so Pooh decides he will plant his own garden to attract bees and get more honey for himself. He has a misconception this should be secret -- thus the title -- but immediately tells most of his friends in the Hundred-Acre Wood and gets them to help. Conflict free and only vaguely educational, even lifting the flaps did little to make this engaging.

Winnie the Pooh-Pooh's Secret Garden is one of many great children's books. Winnie the Pooh is a bear who loves honey and is always in search of it. In this book he realizes how important gardens are to honey because without bees, we are unable to have gardens or produce any honey. This book is educational because it describes the importance of honey, bees, and nature and how they all come together. This picture book is also really great for lower level grade readers because it contains a lot of illustrations and not too many words to read. Highly recommended! ( )
