Enjoyed it so much I immediately searched and got other books by the same author. ( ) The story has been done before. Man gets drunk and accidentally gets married, but the characters provide enough depth to keep the story interesting enough to read. The main characters are opposites in superficial ways but find common ground in what they care about most and that is their families and each other. The Officer Says “I Do” is a cleverly written novel with a unique but realistic storyline and delightfully developed characters. To read my review in its entirety, please visit http://www.bookreviewsandmorebykathy.com/2012/07/03/the-officer-says-i-do/ I have to be honest and say that I didn't like this book at all. There was literally nothing happening in this book other than a free-spirit trying to turn herself into a proper military wife. I felt zero connection between the hero and heroine and even at the end I felt like they were still strangers despite the fact that they had been living together. Some of their interactions even felt awkward to me. On a positive note, I do think the book created a good platform for the next book in the series. Jeremy and Madison were way more interesting than the actual hero and heroine of the book and they barely had any scenes together. Overall, while I didn't care for this book, I would consider trying a different book by this author to see if the next one was more to my liking. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
