The Gulf Stream is a collection of stories that all have to deal with the Gulf Stream, which is a current in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Scientists still don’t know everything about the current and are always looking into it trying to figure out all of its puzzles. The book talks about Christopher Columbus and that finding a bean that had traveled by the Gulf Stream is what made him realize there was land to be searched. It talks about how Ben Franklin used his famous glass bottle experiment to prove the current's existence by catching the warmer water from it.
