I like the books Mercedes Lackey writes, she is good at creating a believable world and people to populate it. While her writing is not the strongest I do find it engaging ang and enjoyable. I like a series I can live inside of and her books are ones that have characters I feel invested in and a world I believe could exist. ( ) Good stories - no particular favorites, none that annoyed me (which is rare, in anthologies). It's amazing how many of these have turned into serials, with a chapter per anthology. A little difficult if you don't read them in reasonably close order - I haven't read one of these anthologies in probably 4-5 years, and it took me a while to remember who these people were and what their relationships were for several of the stories (which facts were necessary to understand what was going on - the relationships weren't reiterated from previous chapters). There were only 4-5 stories that were standalone - and at least one of those got a sequel in the next book. Good, but probably better to read in batches (reread the old one(s) before you go on to the newest) than just as they come out. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

HTML: In March 1987, Mercedes Lackey, a young author from Oklahoma, published her first novel, Arrows of the Queen. No one could have envisioned that this modest book about a magical land called Valdemar would be the beginning of a fantasy masterwork series that would span decades and include more than two dozen titles.
