This story is about the incredible music that Charles Ives composed and how he heard songs everywhere he but never wanted to share them with anyone. However, lout of sorrow he created music that everyone would hear and love.

Use: This book would be a wonderful book for the classroom library. It is an interesting book that holds the readers' attention. It would be a good resource for a research report on the history of music.

This is the story of a man who heard music everywhere. His name was Mr. Ives. After the attack and sinking of the ship called Lusitania everyone in New York is filled with sadness. Mr. Ives uses music to bring hope into the hearts of the people. GENRE: historical fiction. MEDIA: ink and watercolor. USES: to teach about music, and history of Mr. Ives and the sinking of the Lusitania.
