I like this book because it can learn love of family. Instead of Mr.March, who participates in the American Civil War, Mrs.March is left to lead the March family already in a financially difficult situation. In this family, there are four girls: the eldest being the peaceful and quiet Meg, the second being the active and passionate Joe, the third being the shy Beth, and last but not least, Amy, the cute and clever fourth, the youngest of the four siblings. Their neighbor, Lorry, the son of the Lorrence family, gets interested in the four sisters and eventually achieves close friendship with them. His earnestness and brightness allows him to get along with the March sisters like a real brother. Also, Lorry's grandpa Lorrence looks very strict on the outside, but he is actually a generous person, and gives a piano to Beth as a present and always helps out the March family.
