Supposed to be thriller but the situations are almost laughably hard to believe. This one about an unsuccessful attempt to kidnap President's daughter, who oh by the way, is psychic and the sister of her doctor just happens to be oh by the way psychic. And the man who saves the daughter's life also happens to be oh by the way psychic. Too much. Liked the concept of "mind talking" between Cassie the president's daughter and the doctor Riley's sister Milissa. Interesting for a little while the romantic thinkings between the 2 Riley sisters and Travis - a bit surprised at how that turned out. Glad this was more of a mystery and not about sex. Although there was often a change of view it helped with trying to understand all the villain characters and what they were trying to do. Easy to read as a stand alone but makes me wonder which characters are part of the series. Cassie Andreas, the six year old daughter of President Andreas of the United States, escaped into a tunnel of her own psychological making after seeing the people she trusted murderdred around her. President Andreas hired Jessica Riley to help bring Cassie out of her catatonic state when no one else can reach her. Jssica is particularly qualified to help Cassie because her own sister had a similar experience when their parents were killed in a fire. Jessica's sister, Melissa, emerged from her coma with a terrifying talent...she had the ability to see danger in the future. This is NOT an Eve Duncan book. That is why I read it. There's some physic and telepathic parts, which may seem unreal, but I don't find these parts to lessen the story but make them more interesting. Its not any different then believing in knights in Shinning armor coming and sweeping us off our feet -Real? This book was a good thriller, but could have been better. I liked the character interaction, especially between Cassie and Melissa in the "tunnel" and between Travis and both Melissa and Jessica Riley. I didn't like that it took the author a long time to explain what Travis was involved in and why various people were after him. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
