Amazing as always, love Tess Gerritsen =) ( ) This one was super tense the whole time. I prefer some variation in my fiction. We join our intrepid medical examiner on a visit to Narnia. Just kidding, it's Maine. We get more Julian time in this one. and finally an indication that Maura and Jane are actually friends. Not gonna lie, this one is more than a little convoluted. Somehow I always feel cheated after reading a book in this series. Not matter how smart Jane Rizzoli or Maura Isles is built up, they always fall prey to the most obvious traps. If it's not a drugged drink, then it's someone standing in the corners. You gotta wonder how no one's killed them, yet - well, Maura has died twice already if you're keeping track. This book, however, felt like it was written for a television audience going through withdrawals from lack of episodes on TV. The cover even has the TNT logo stamped on it - what's going on with that?! Or maybe I'm just growing out of my Gerritsen stage. Whatever the case, I need to make the following pleas: Tess, if you're reading this, please consider writing Mephisto Society and the Students of Evensong spin-offs. There's money there, and you know it! Read the review here. Technisch brilliant. Gutes Pacing. I registered a book at BookCrossing.com! http://www.BookCrossing.com/journal/7424502 This is an overly complicated tale that defies belief. Teddy Clock is the survivor of two attempted murders. In the first attempt the rest of his family died. In the second his new family was targeted as well. It works all right as a page-turner, mindless reading. When I need a break from the good stuff I sometimes go for something like this. But that doesn't mean I actually like it a lot. It's better than that romantic suspense kind of thing but doesn't come up to the better mysteries. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

Visiting sixteen-year-old "Rat" Perkins at isolated Evenson boarding school, Maura Isles is astonished to learn that all of his classmates are survivors of violence and are being instructed in scientific detective skills, a discovery that coincides with Jane Rizzoli's investigation into the murder of a boy's foster family.
