Not a bad overview textbook introduction, positive is its description of key relevant experiments in a clear manner, not as good when it comes to explaining the most difficult aspects of neuroscience such as the Action Potential which would benefit from at least a mention of what is happening mathematically. ( ) A thorough introduction to neuroscience, this French textbook is a translation of an English original. A lot of the problems I have with this book have to do with the level of words they see fit to explain, but leaving many other technical terms loose. This mainly has to do with the fact that in any given French class, I never learned the classifications of primates in French. Another minor issue is that the margins tend to become packed with addendums and related information/graphics, but this prevents note-taking (more info vs ability to remember info). sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
Drawing on their extensive experience in teaching and research, the authors explore the biological basis of behaviour, whilst emphasising clinical aspects of neuroscience and reinforcing its relationship to the human experience. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
