Enjoyed the novel. The loss of one of main figures right after the beginning and the bringing him back at the end was a little weird; knowing that he would be back, a little side Adventure would have been fun.The book would never make it in today's political correct society. Plus I found it personally disturbing that the evil villain had the same last name as me. But I enjoy adventures stories with ghost, treasures, and madmen. ( )

Thoroughly enjoyed this adventure with a slight supernatural edge to it. Wonderful book. ( )

A standard formula Haggard adventure with minor variations; this time the goddess of the tribe is a captured European woman, if I recall rightly. ( )
