This book is a great book as it talks about a ladybugs characteristics, life cycle, and their habitat. I enjoy this book as it gets into detail about ladybugs to help children know where they live, how they eat, and how they grow. This book is great for ages 4-8 years old. ( ) So many delightful ladybug facts in this book! Some of the ones that stuck: -Ladybugs are on every continent except Antarctica. -There are about 465 different types of ladybug in North America alone, about about 5,000 kinds worldwide. -There is a ladybug without spots, called a spotless ladybug! -Ladybugs are sometimes called ladybirds ("They are not birds" -my 3yo), but they are beetles. In addition to being really cute, ladybugs are also excellent for gardeners and farmers. (They will eat the aphids from your tomato plants.
