I enjoyed the read because it isnt too easy to describe to a young child why we have bellybuttons. This book is a short story for young readers. I liked this book for a few reasons. First, the questions were answered in a way that was easy for children to understand. For example, there is a question about why fathers can't have babies and the answer given is that mothers and fathers make babies together but only the mothers have a special place where the baby can grow inside them. This isn't too graphic of an answer nor is it too simple that children will end up asking more questions. I also liked that the "main character" in the story was the same girl. On every page, she was illustrated along with her teddy bear. I liked this because even though the book is not a typical picture book, it gave the book a sense of unity through the illustrations. I even learned why things taste different when your nose is stuffy. It is because smell makes the food taste better and when you can't smell as well, the food doesn't taste as good. The main idea of this book is to inform children about different aspects of their bodies. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
