The books of Todd Parr (creator of the Discovery channel TV show Toddworld) feature fanciful and boldly colored line drawings that instantly appeal to children. The Daddy Book is filled with Parr's trademark images and lots of statements about the different kinds of daddies, both mundane and silly: ("Some daddies sing in the shower. Some daddies sing to you in bed.") A fun book to share with children. Bonus fun: Get them to make up "Some daddies" phrases of their own. Review by Book Dads (
