A depressing movie, obviously. But it's interesting, and important. This is not the ghetto you see portrayed in the movies - in fact, it's a lot more like the concentration camps you see in the movies. As for what the real concentration camps were like, that footage is on this DVD as a bonus feature, and oh my god I wish I had not watched it.

This graphic and emotionally draining 60 minute unedited film was shot by the Nazis in May of 1942 and apparently intended to be a propaganda film. It was discovered after the war in East Germany titled "Das Ghetto" in an archive.

This would be suited to older teens and adults who have a considerable knowledge of the Holocaust as the scene are graphic and emotionally draining.
