It would serve as a great history opening for football. Of course a message is always great for younger kids to learn to become better understanding of people and themselves. ( ) This book is about a grandpa telling his grandson a story about a football player named Roy Riegels. He thinks he is about to make a touchdown, but in reality he is running to the wrong side of the field. The rising action in this story the little boys grandpa telling him the story about Roy. The little boy wants to know what is going to happen next in his grandpa's story. The climax would be when Roy catches the football and is running. Is he going to score a touchdown? Is the other team going to tackle him? Why is everyone just watching him? The resolution is Roy feels like he lead his team down, and doesn't want to go back out on the field in play.
