Infact it reminded me of Eric Carle's Brown Bear, Brown Bear What do you see?

But the thing that I loved the most was the artwork, by Clare Beaton! The pictures are made from felt collage and embroidery and are beautiful!

Furthermore, while the text of the 'story' is simple enough, at the back there are 4 pages of more in-depth facts about all the animals and their offspring- great for those evenings when storytime needs to be just that little bit longer.
