I liked it...for the most part. Staci Stallings wrote a gripping tale of a man named Ben who has to make some seriously hard choices, quite possibly the hardest ones of his life: take his father off of life support or let him linger on indefinitely. No matter which decision he makes, the end result will always be death. So how does one let go? Enter Kathryn Walker--a hospice social worker who has seen many families in the same situation. How do you love someone enough to let them go on into eternity? She shares her professional insight, her wisdom, and most importantly, her faith.

As Ben and Kathryn journey through the valley of his father's impending death, Ben becomes more aware that the person he is now really isn't the person he wants to be for the rest of his life. The divorce of his parents affected him deeply and as an adult, he realizes that he wants a future entirely different than what he was willing to settle for.
