Ruth Heller’s illustrations are splendid. The illustrations in this book are phenomenal and Heller very gently intorduces the reader to the concepts of the plant life cycle. Every page has the ability to generate multiple questions and launch many discussions, from science to artwork. The text is written as a poem and in itself can be worth a study. This is a good book to use when teaching a science class about pollination and how plants grow. It can be used to spark interest before teaching about flowers and plants. I enjoyed the flow of the story, and I liked all the facts it taught through out the book. The bright pictures are nice to look at when learning about the flowers because it allows us to not only learn about a flower but to see what is looks like too. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

Brief text and lavish illustrations explain plant reproduction and the purpose of a flower and present some plants which don't seem to be flowers but are. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
