Actualmente no hay Conversaciones sobre este libro. 4 stories in 192 pages: 1.mankind is saved because robots do appreciate them; 2. religious fanaticism is the doom of all space/time matrices; 3. everyone needs a purpose in life; 4: space/energy/time--and the practical side of longevity. These stories, of app. 50 pages each, are "crunchy" with extra baggage--taking many obscure twists before getting to the point. I found myself successively puzzled by the distracting (tendentious?) plot lines; and then surprised (blind-sided?) by the denouements. I can see why the few reviewers here gave the book an average of 3-stars; and maybe it's my age, and basically contemplative outlook, that permits me to rate it higher. ( ) This collection of short stories from the 1960s is consistently thought provoking, but rarely compelling. Each of the four stories has something interesting about it, but characters and plot do take a back seat to ideas. Not that there's anything wrong with stories that make you think! Of the four, Intangibles, Inc. was probably my least favorite. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
