This book has a charming humour that seems rare in contemporary publishing, a wholesome and family friendly innocence. This book was not from my childhood nor go I recall Art Linkletter, yet it somehow makes me feel warmly nostalgic ( ) Written by Art Linkletter, intro by Walt Disney and illustrations by Charles M. Shulz. What a team! This is a collection by Mr. Linkletter of some of the funnier moments on his TV show, House Party. Of course it was funny, the things kids say, and I enjoyed many of his observations about listening to children. I love his insights into the way children think. This book is better than a lot of the child psychology stuff I read when my children were small and it makes me laugh. But the presuppositions back then, wow! The little girls were either asked, or said, they wanted to be mommies, housewives, nurses, stewardesses or personal secretaries. And Mr. Linkletter, did you really ask a little girl if she were a secretary would she be willing to sit on her bosses lap?!?! Yes, sir, you did! For the most part though, kids are kids, and they are fun to listen to. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
