This was a great collection of short stories! You have all the classics that made Maupassant known and then get to explore the deepest crevices of his mind through his prowess with his prose. There are tales of adulteries, love, chicaneries, journeys, and much more. For those who love short stories, classic literature, and French literature you should read this. It's totally worth it!

Maupassant loved the people and place of Turkey [460], and broadcast his affections in many short and long stories.
