This was a re-read but first time listening to the narration - and Jon Solo did very good!
I loved going back to Levi and Jaime, but this time I was mostly in love with the way Levi's family showed such growth and love throughout the story. (

I have to say I absolutely loved this book. I really enjoyed watching the transformation of Levi throughout. I really enjoyed the religious struggle that occurred. I thought it was nicely balanced between Levi wanting to believe in all he grew up with but knowing that there had to be a happy medium between it all. I really felt for Jamie throughout and thought that Levi was the perfect complement to him. The only thing I did not love was at the end when Levi was talking to his dad and he stated that God sent him to help Jamie. I didn't feel this was the case and it could have been taken as a slight to Jamie...that he needed saving. Granted, he did to some degree but I think it was brushed over that perhaps Jamie saved Levi as well and that Levi also needed saving. Levi finally found a purpose and a home with Jamie that he admits made him happy and by him not acknowledging that, I feel that he slighted the relationship a bit.
This could easily be a 5 star book but I think that last piece makes me knock it down to 4 (since there isn't a 4.5). This is a definite re-read book for me though. I loved it. (
