Two twins have shared everything since birth, but as they grow up they out grow their one blanket and have to learn how to share when they have their own things. Estimated ages: 3-8

This is a great book for primary readers as it is easy to read and has a great message about family and sharing. It talks about family traditions that some of our students may relate to and is filed with colorful illustrations. The book has limited words which makes it perfect for primary aged readers. Through the pictures, the reader can see that the sisters fight like siblings but at the end, they come together while they are sleeping because they are so used to having one another. ( )

This book is great for reading to grades k-2. It's about two sisters that are twins and have had the same blanket for their whole lives that they shared. But, now that they're bigger the blanket doesn't fit both of them. So, their mother makes a new blanket for each of them and has pieces of their old blanket in it. I thought that this was a great book that would be great for a student who has trouble sharing with their siblings and understanding as a twin that they are there own person. ( )

This book is a wonderful book to encourage sisters to get along. I would incorporate this book in my classroom to help maybe a student who has a sister or a twin so they can relate to this book and potentially learn from it as well. ( )
