In "The Cardinal of the Kremlin," Ryan must rescue a CIA agent in Moscow who has uncovered the plan for the Soviet's Star Wars Defense System. The only problem is that the KGB has discovered the agent, & will stop at nothing to silence him. In "Clear & Present Danger," Ryan is pitted against a ruthless Colombian drug ring after the U.S. ambassador to that country is murdered & all of Central America is about to explode.
