I'll give anything by Mike Mignola a whirl. I also enjoyed Joe Hill's intro. ( )

Loved the art in this, the colouring in particular was as fantastic as you'd expect from Mignola. However, I wasn't really taken with the actual story or characters. The characters were shallow stereotypes, and the story is more set up for the world rather than having any actual plot. I'll probably pick up the next volume, but this was nothing really to get excited about. ( )

This book combines Mike Mignola's distinctive style with a moody, dark WW1 European vibe to tell a vampire story. Lord Baltimore is driven to slaughter vampires in his quest to find the vampire Hagius, who murdered his family. ( )

A little murky, but fantastic atmosphere. I plan to keep reading. Great for fans of horror comics! ( )
