Nigel, a vampire and his girlfriend Chloe are in high school and a new kid Jason moves in and Nigel thinks something is weird about Jason. Chloe nags Nigel to transform her but he doesn't because he needs his parents approval. Then another vampire moves into Nigel's house who, his parents make Nigel call this new guy grandpa, and Nigel has to do all of grandpa's chores. Nigel gets invited to chloe's house and gets tricked into transforming her but it fails getting her sick and she breaks up making Nigel lose his powers. It also happens Jason is a werewolf, vampires and we're wolf's fight and it turns out Chloe was a werewolf too. Nigel's parents learn about this and instead of starting a war they move to scott land with other vampires.

I gave it four stars because while it's a good story I don't like the whole wanting his girlfriend back. Other than that the characters are great. Also when Nigel went on his own it was hilarious and his parents didn't notice. My final verdict it's not something I'd read 20 times but I'd give it a few extra reads, and I got it free so I can't complain ( )

After changing from lame to super-attractive over school break, vampire Nigel acquires a girlfriend, Chloe, and starts the new term as one of the most popular students at school, but then a new student sets his sights on Chloe and Nigel must compete for her affections.

Nigel has finally gotten his girlfriend but now he's faced with a new challenge. Deciding weather or not he'll turn her into a vampire so they can be together forever. Chole is quite pushy on the subject and at one point tries to force Nigel to turn her.

Another problem that Nigel has is he's starting to loose his powers. Powers he has only had for about a year (the first 100 years were spent without them). He believes he's loosing them because he is no longer dating Chole, who is currently going out with the new boy.

The new boy is a big bruit and there's something odd about him. It doesn't take Nigel long to figure out that the new boy (Tyson) is a werewolf! Can Nigel save Chole from this spam eating monster? Since Vampire charm is no longer on his side he'll just have to resort to poetry and sulking.

This book is written like a diary by Nigel who is sarcastic and negative. The story is pretty funny though I was a bit upset by the ending. Still it was worth reading. ( )
