I loved this story for one main reason, that reason being the creative illustrations. Each illustration displayed a different setting and different emotions. They show heroic characters and poor characters, they show sorrow, fear, and bravery. These illustrations tell the story of Alexander the Great better than any of the words on the other pages can. The one thing I did not enjoy about this book were the words, they were dull and not fun to read. The paragraphs were super long and difficult to read. An example of the text is, “Alexander marched his army to Troy, where he sacrificed to the goddess Athena. He then went to Granicus river, positioned his army on the west bank, and prepared for attack” this example represents how dull the vocabulary is and the actually story. The author could have done something exciting with this story, yet did not. However, there is still a very important message of this story. The main message being to share the story of a historical figure with the younger generations. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
