The book then goes on to show several other family situations with bigger families. Once the family night starts, the little girl finds another family of two and feels better about her little family. However, Lily found out not every family is like Melissa's. Lily learned to value each family at the family fun night has the unique family, and they are still happy. This book reminded of many families in my classroom as well. Everyone has a unique family; we should respect and understand the cultures. I will read this book with the Pre-k to Kindergarten.
