This was a boring and formulaic romance novel based on silly misunderstandings and bullheadedness. Only the language saved this from a one star rating. ( )

Eh. Not bad, but not particularly interesting. A lot of secrets - sheesh, three parentage discoveries in one chapter! Well, two discoveries and one admitting. Bossy husband and capable wife, not admitting to fears - lots of tropes, none of them very interesting or noticeably well-executed. The secondary romance was more interesting than the first, if equally obvious almost from the start. Not a keeper. ( )
