In which Robin resembles a high school student, Marion is an albino, there is no romantic tension (in fact, no relationship tension at all), Much is a wrestler, Will a hunchback and an old man, Little John a smith and the one to have been on crusade, and Friar Tuck is very cool. Probably because he is not in the BBC TV series and I had no expectations, or preconceived ideas. It was only a short children’s novel and not one of Michael Morpurgos’s best, but I found it interesting and didn’t mind it. My younger sister really enjoyed it. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

This book is apparently written for 9 to 14 year olds but I certainly enjoyed it. I did not find this quite as fun to read as the other Michael Morpurgo book I just finished, Arthur, High King of Britain, but, nevertheless I give it a 3.5 rating. Michael Foreman's beautiful water colour illustrations enrich the reading experience. ( )
