This is another collection of poems about dogs. The illustrations in this book were beautiful. All of the poems were about different breeds of dogs from small dogs to large dogs. They were all very different which made the collection more interesting.

The poems are all colorful and mostly shape poems or concrete poems which makes them fun to read with children. This book has beautiful illustrations but this can be why sometimes the poems are hard to read.

I would use this book as a read-aloud with fourth grade. The poems are easy to follow and each page has an interesting poem about a different dog with a different hobby. It would be good for a read-aloud because it has good pictures, and it's better for students to hear poems as well as read them.
