A pair of rowdy boys would be exhausting for two parents--little wonder single mom Melanie Drake feels overwhelmed. Her sons are her world, but she knows she needs a helping hand to keep them in line. Enter Nathan Keller--respected banker, descendant of the town's founding father...and baseball coach. Melanie knows he's out of her league, but as her sons learn to love Coach Nathan, Melanie starts falling for him, too. With the whole town rooting for happily ever after, it won't be long before this hometown dad joins their family for good. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |

Nathan, who was jilted by his former girlfriend because he has Crohn’s Disease, is attracted to Melanie and likes her boys. However, he is afraid that he will be rejected because of his illness. Nathan also is a coach for the youth baseball league and suggests that Melanie sign up her boys for the upcoming season.
Of course, this is a romance, so the reader knows that there will be a happily-ever-after ending. But there are bumps along the road. Even with the support of friends and members of Nathan’s family, both are afraid to allow friendship to bloom into a relationship. What does it take for them to become a true couple?
I loved the people of Kellersburg, Ohio and they way they support one another. I disliked Melanie’s former in-laws until they learned to accept Melanie for who she is now and not hate her for her difficult past. The young sons are a lot of fun and they play an integral role in the developing romance.
This is book three in the Kellersburg book series, but easily holds up as a standalone novel. It is the first one I’ve read, but I already own the other two and look forward to also reading them. ( )
