I attended a class that involved "Thread Painting" which inspired me to purchase this book. It involves creative ways to use thread, yarn,cording... but just not in the needle of your sewing machine or serger but also in your bobbin. I purchase a separate bobbin case for this idea. I used these ideas in garments but it comes in very handy with quilting arts.
