Wet Pet, Dry Pet, Your Pet, My Pet is a younger children's book. It talks about different made up pets like the "zeds","yink", and a "gack". This book has moveable parts and also has touch about "fur" for some of the animals.
Personal Reaction:
I really loved this book. I could see kindergarteners reading this and touching the pictures and really enjoying the book.
Classroom Extension Ideas:
1. The students can touch the "fur" in the pictures and draw what animal they think the fur feels like.
2. As a class we could come up with our own rhymes and made up animals.
