This book is a must-have for teaching Thanksgiving units. The book can be integrated into many subject areas and relays the story of the first thanksgiving in "kid-friendly" terms.

What I liked most about this book was the illustrations. I do admire the story of the pilgrims and Wampanoag, but I didn't find the book to be that entertaining. I wasn't very focused, and I just wanted it to be over. ( )

This book is written in a song about the pilgrim and Indian children preparing for Thanksgiving. It is a fun song and book to read to elementary students around Thanksgiving. ( )
