Its the first Trisha Ashley book i've ever read and i've already bought more. A bonus too was the recipes, as a cook myself i'll be giving them a go. I'd most definately recommend this book to everyone and its a wonderful winter/christmas read. Its got a Grinch like me in the mood so it must be good. 10/10 from me. A perfect Christmas read though I read it in October on a Trisha Ashley binge. Holly Brown hates Christmas and, as a house sitter, views the opportunity to spend the holidays in a remote Lancashire location as perfect. Unfortunately, her plans fall apart when the family descends one by one, including the owner, sculptor Jude Martland. Despite her plan to leave, Holly is forced into their Christmas plans when a snowstorm makes traffic impossible. The story is full of the eccentric and lovable characters that are one of Ms. Ashley's trademarks. Holly has good reason for wanting to be alone, but Jude and his family (and others) instill the spirit of the holidays back into her life. Of course, Jude has ulterior motives once he actually meets his housesitter. It's a good book, perfect for Christmas or really, anytime. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

Trisha's bestselling Christmas book will have you hooked from start to finish - the perfect read as those cold winter nights draw in. Christmas has always been a sad time for young widow Holly Brown. So when she's asked to look after a remote house on the Lancashire moors, the opportunity to hide herself away is irresistible - the perfect excuse to forget about the festivities. The owner of the house, Jude Martland, is also avoiding Christmas since the last one saw his brother run off with his fiancee. But forced to return home unexpectedly, Jude arrives to find that his family are running amok - with Holly seemingly at the centre of it all. As the blizzards descend, there is no escape. With nowhere to go, Holly and Jude get much more than they bargained for - and a Christmas they will always remember! No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
