I received this ebook through the LibraryThing Early Reviewers program. I generally only request books that really intrigue me, so I'm not sure why I requested this one. It's set in the theater world, which really doesn't interest me; one of the main turnoffs, for me, was a main character named King David. It just seemed so contrived. So while I don't think the book was badly written, I just couldn't get into it. ( )Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing. I received this book through the Early Reviewers and remember it being a light romp through the fringe of the theater. I went into it not expecting much, so I wasn't necessarily disappointed, but it did tend to drag on a bit. Quantity over quality. I didn't want to gouge my eyes out after I was done, but I don't recall feeling the need to know what happened next, either. Not terrible, not fantastic, three stars. Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing. It took me a long time to read this book. Almost half the book was given over to 'they're attracted to each other despite their determination not to be'. I didn't particularly like either main character; Nadine's infantalised language annoyed me especially. However, once they actually started dating things picked up, several subplots kicked in and the pacing improved. I don't think the plot is substantial enough to support a book this length, and it would be improved by being cut dramatically. I enjoyed the book but it was too long and wordy. The plot seemed forced and did not flow. It was a fun read but not a blast a minute. Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing. I received this book in the Early Reviewers contest. Overall this was an okay book, not the best but not the worst either. As far as overall fiction it was pretty generic but for a contemporary romance it wasn't well written. It was too long and with one of the main characters called King Dave, it made reading awkward. Other than that it was a typical boy meets girl romance with a lot of swearing and sex. I don't think I'll be looking for more titles from this author in the future. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
